CHILDTIMES and HONEY, I LOVE author Eloise Greenfield appears on television documentary on April 5,

As you may recall, Eloise Greenfield spoke at the 75th anniversary of the Langston Terrace Dwellings Project event on 5/4/13. It is noteworthy that Ms. Greenfield, along with her parents and siblings, were among the first people to live in the Project. At that time, there were no projects. The Langston Terrace Dwellings Project was the first federally funded housing project in Washington, D.C., the second in the U.S.

We have now learned that Ms. Greenfield was just recently interviewed about growing up in Langston Terrace for a PBS-TV documentary called, "10 Homes that Changed America." It will air on Tuesday, April 5th, at 8:00 pm. This program, which will also be interactive, will focus on architecturally adventuresome dwellings, which provided Americans with more than just a “roof over their heads” – these homes elevated living to an art form. To learn more, go here, then scroll down to Langston Terrace and click on "read more."

In their three-generational memoir, CHILDTIMES (HarperCollins) by Eloise Greenfield, her mother Lessie Jones Little, and her grandmother Pattie Ridley Jones, there is a section about the Langston Terrace Dwellings Project. What could be more appropriate then than to have Ms. Greenfield included in this documentary!

We hope you enjoy the show!
