Ashley Bryan wins the 38th Ludington Award!

We're pleased to announce that Ashley Bryan, whose most recent book, FREEDOM OVER ME (Atheneum/Caitlyn Dlouhy Books/S&S), has been getting starred reviews, is the recipient of the 38th Annual Ludington Award. Named in honor of Jeremiah Ludington, who founded the Educational Paperback Association, now known as the Educational Book and Media Association, this award is given annually to "an individual who has made a significant contribution to the educational paperback business." Ashley will accept the award, which is the EBMA version of a "Lifetime Achievement Award," in February at EBMA’s annual conference in St. Petersburg, FL. As part of the award, a charity of Ashley's choosing will be presented with a check for $2,500.

Please join us in congratulating this legendary author-illustrator on this well-deserved award.
