On a personal note, I would also like to thank Eloise for mentioning Balkin Buddies in her Coretta Scott King-Virginia Hamilton Award acceptance speech, which she gave at the American Library Association annual conference in New Orleans in June. I've worked with Eloise for over 20 years and it has been and continues to be an honor to work with her.
