On Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 10:00 am to noon, the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH) is sponsoring a book signing featuring more than 20 African American authors, among them, Eloise Greenfield, the 2018 Coretta Scott King-Virginia Hamilton Lifetime Achievement Award winner. She will be signing PAR-TAY! DANCE OF THE VEGGIES, which was illustrated by Don Tate, published by Alazar Press). The book signing will take place at the Renaissance Hotel, located at 999 Ninth St., NW in Washington, D.C.
